I represent a family of some 20 (14-17 adults, 5-6 children). We plan to visit Italy (perhaps Cinque Terre region) as a group in mid-late June, 2008. My idea is to spend 2 days in Verona or Portafino then 2 days each in 2 villages along the Cinque Terre. Travel by train, stay in modest hotels. Then another week dispersed in smaller units. We welcome suggestions.

If this is the first time in Italy for most of you, do some research. Start with Rick's guidebooks and view his TV shows - he has several new ones about Italy out now, covering Tuscany, Cinque Terre, and all cities. All are beautiful. You will be inspired I'm sure and get lots of ideas on what you want to see.
