Express train- Milan Cadorna to Malpensa MXP

I'm getting into the weeds and making more detailed notes as my trip will start in 6 weeks. I hope someone that has done this recently can clarify.

When I return home I will take the express train to MXP. My flight departs from Terminal 1.

When I look at the Trenitalia site, it seems to suggest that the express train stops at Terminal 2 and doesn't go to Terminal 1.
When I go to the Malpensa airport site, there is a shuttle bus between the two terminals. On that site there is a link to mapensaexpress.it where tickets for the express train can be purchased. On that site it seems to suggest that the train goes to T-1 - so the shuttle bus wouldn't be needed?

When I compare the train departure times, departure intervals and cost for the ticket they are the same on both sites so they must be different sellers for the same train. So which site is correct?

Trains to MXP first stop at T1, before continuing to T2.
So yes, final destination is T2, but they all stop at T1 before.

On the Trenitalia website, click "Details" for your selected train to see a list of all stops along the route.

Actually after T1 and T2 now the train proceeds further to Gallarate. T2 is no longer the last station. The Malpensa - Gallarate portion opened not long ago.

Not on the Milano Cordona line (which OP wishes to take).

Only on the Milano Centrale line do trains continue on to Gallarate.
