Has anyone had experience booking an apartment through Rome Sweet Home? They don't post guest comments on their website and I'm a little hesitant. Thanks

Read the apartment rental reviews on SlowTrav.com. The agency AND the apartment are reviewed. Rome Sweet Home receives mixed reviews. I'd use another agency. Your vacation is too important to take any chances.

Use the website www.cross-pollinate.com for apartment and B@B bookings. It's a site owned by an American couple living in Rome. Great accommodations at modest prices!!!

We used Rome Sweet Home on a trip to Rome in September 2006. A representative met us at the apartment within 5 minutes of our arrival to give us the keys and show us the apartment. We had no problems what so ever and enjoyed the apartment a great deal.

Robin.We rented from VRBO.com. All of their rentals have reviews. We have used them all over the world, and have been completely satisfied.
The Rome apt we rented for the two of us only cost us $100US/nite, and was overlooking a park and a river in the Veneto area of Rome. It was heaven!
Make sure that your booking agency has good reviews. The people that followed us into our rental in Rome got "left out in the cold" by another agency.

You should be very hesitant. I wish I would have done more research. I could go on and on about all the things wrong with them and the apartment we stayed at but nothing would really come close to getting lice on vacation. Yes, we got lice from their apartment. When I contacted them several times they ignored me. I could give you a huge list of things wrong with them but lice pretty much sums it up.
