My wife and I reserved a room at Nicolina for some upcoming dates in October. I was wondering if anyone has experience staying there? The reservation process wasn't anything like others in that she didn't provide any sort of confirmation and didn't request a deposit of any sort. We just don't want to find ourselves out of a hotel room when we get there, so any advice on this would be great!

I stayed at other Rick Steves recommended rooms in Vernazza last year. Enrica only took my name and asked that I contact her a week in advance to reconfirm. There was no other confirmation and no deposit, but my room was ready and waiting when I arrived.
