Exact location of La Mala'

I'm looking at photos of Vernazza, and I'm trying to figure out exactly where La Mala' is situated. It think that I have figured it out, but if someone reading this has stayed there, could you please look at this and describe for me where it is?

It would be very much appreciated!

Go to GoogleMap and copy and paste this exact address into the search box:Via San Giovanni Battista, 29, 19018 Vernazza SP, ItaliaThe green arrow points to La Mala. It's location is not quite evident in the photo you're looking at because La Mala is more towards the sea whereas that photo is taken (it appears) from the trail coming over from Monterosso, the photographer was standing on the trail just above town and looking south at the northern face of the western part of Vernazza; if the photographer had been in a boat on the opposite (south) side of town, then La Mala would be more visible.

Thanks, Kent. I did use Google Maps to find it, and, from the photos on the La Mala' website, I can tell which side of the Tower it's on. I was wondering if you can see the building from that photo.

A bit of a longshot ...

Thanks, Kent. I just found a better view. And, here's the actual house, which is white, so I think that I might be able to see it.

Yes, it's one of those buildings shown in your last photo, not sure which of those structures. La Mala has some balcony views, and I see a few balconies in the photo. BTW: Nice job imbedding the link!

But I'm not seeing the stone balcony, shown on their website, in the photo.

I'm assuming that it must be an angle issue. Because, the house is white, and there aren't many white houses to choose from.

It's possible that the house was painted white since the photo was taken (or vice versa).

Actually, you can see the water and part of the stone balcony in the photo of the house. That view is from the Castle hilltop.
But, I have a great sense of where it is.

I think I see the exact house, white with the balcony. Very dramatic location. Make sure the kids don't get too adventurous re the balconies. Will be wonderful to get the kids to bed and then sit on the balcony, listen to the waves, drink some Vino Delle Cinque Terre grown wine, foccacia, and pesto, while listening to the waves crash into the cliffs! Excellent choice! The bar under the tower on the other side, they serve a beer that is stronger than any beer I ever had--watch out for that!

Sounds great! But, given the ages of the kids (16, 12, 12), the days of "getting the kids to bed and ..." are long gone - they frequently go to sleep after we do.
