Everyone says Roma Passes are easy to get after arriving in Rome, but...

We will be arriving on a Sunday at 7:45 AM. The TI at the airport won't be open, and I have seen different hours from various sources. Some say it opens at 8 AM, others say 9 AM. If it is 8 AM, then we can get our Roma passes before leaving the airport.

Otherwise, we will be taking the shuttle into Rome and after reaching our hotel, we will take a short walk to Spagna station. Any opportunities to get a Roma Pass before getting on the metro in this example? Thanks.

Ya, if you plane lands at 7:45, you probably not clear the airport till 8:30, 8:45 anyway so kill an extra 15 minutes with a cup of coffee and then buy your pass.

Or you can buy it once you get to the train station from the airport, big TI there.

True, but I didn't even want to buy a single use metro ticket from Spagna to Termini to get the Roma Pass haha. I had hoped to start using the Roma Pass right away, but yeah that might end up being the only option.

If I recall, a metro ticket is just one euro anyway. I think I might rather get to my hotel, stow my luggage, and then go about getting passes and such so I wouldn't have to worry about "guarding" my luggage.

When you say you will be taking the shuttle into Rome from the airport do you mean the Leonardo Express? If so you would arrive at the Termini train station and there is a tourist information point there. You can opt to order the Roma passes online and collect them there or get them while you are there.

No, I think he mean that he was taking a shuttle to his hotel. That is what he posted. Seems pretty clear. Hence the need to hit the TI in the airport.

Sorry, I misunderstood that part. Tabacchi shops also sell the RomaPass - at least, the one I bought a bus ticket from once did. I'm sure there are plenty of those right around Spagna.
