We are looking for an apartment in Venice for 4 nights in June. I keep coming across The Key to Italy as a management company. Has anyone rented from them? Good experience? Bad? Thanks for any feedback.
Don't know anything about The Key to Italy, but we have rented from Summer in Italy and the Parker Company...both of which have been good experiences.
I've been to Venice twice. The first time I stayed at an apartment by sleepingvenice.com which I don't recommend at all as a company.
The second time I stayed at Aquilaia(?) Apartment by thekeytoitaly.com and everything went ok.
Accommodation was as described, carefully decorated, location was just off San Marco which is excellent. They require you to pick your keys at their office which is on the way to the apartment..a bit annoying but overall a smooth process.friendly staff in Venice.Ken
Hi, Have been to Venice twice and rented through vrbo. Both times, we were very satisfied. The last apartment was in the Castello sestiere. Close to everything and very quiet. Lovely, one-bedroom apartment. I believe it is called Ca'Luna. The owner was lovely to deal with. She answered all of my emails and was a delight. She also supplied a nice book of information about the area. I love Venice and I especially like renting apartments there.
