We are looking at a three day stay in Milan during the week beginning 10 September. Most hotels show no availabilities that week -- is something happening then? Can reschedule by a week if we need to. Appreciate your help and thanks in advance.

I believe Fashion Week is around that time, or could be another huge industry convention.

If you can move it up by a week, that might help be aware that Milan Fashion Week starts on 19 September and things will only get worse. I just checked on 3 and 4 star hotels for the 10-13th and there were a lot of hotels on Expedia showing availability.

Checked booking.com and many properties were available. Hotel Garda and Hotel Berna (both mentioned frequently here on the forum) had rooms available during the week of the 10th.

I just checked and UNA Maison Milano is available. I always stay there. It's around the corner from everything (especially the duomo). The staff there is wonderful, the rooms impeccable. Good luck!
