I will be in Florence on June 13 and Italy will be playing at noon. I'm not a big football fan but I love watching sports fans and enjoying the atmosphere. Where should I go to watch the game and be a part of the scene?

You are definitely not a fan if you plan to watch the game at Noon. If you go at Noon, you'll be staring at the TV for a long time before you see Italy playing. Belgium vs Italy starts at 9pm.
There might have big screens in major piazza (Pza della Repubblica?). But most bars will have it on TV.

Hence me saying I'm not a fan but enjoy the excitement. I guess the official euro cup site automatically does the time change which makes sense as I'm 9 hrs behind Italy. And I would also add that the bars will be full a few hrs prior to the game do I will just go with the flow. Thx

Show up and go with the flow is perfect. Wander around and see a place you might like to walk into and watch it. Check out a few spots and see which has more people is what I would do.
