My husband and I will be in Sicily for 2 weeks in late Oct/early Nov. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a tour of Etna? We’ll have a car.

Hi, Giangilberto from Milan, so, my only advice is to take tours on Mount Etna exclusively with official alpine and volcanological guides, it is important to remember that Etna is a volcano, but also a mountain.
Excursions of this kind should be undertaken with competent professionals who are prepared for any eventuality.
I have a very close friend from Syracuse who does this work, he is an official guide, but I can also recommend checking out this website, they are all highly competent professionals.

We used Sicily Life in May and enjoyed the tour. We combined Etna along with visiting a vineyard for lunch. They offer a couple of different options. I think the right tour depends on your goal. We wanted to visit Etna, but not hike/visit the higher elevations.
