Which eSIM would be best to use in Italy? I’m travelling with my two teens and need eSIMS for three of us. We will be in Italy for 18 days. I’m planning to use my phone for Google search, Google map, i.e. Data, texting, and phone calls. Thank you.

We have had good experiences with Airalo in Europe (France and UK, but they have Italy specific ones, and this is my plan for October 2024). Data only, no calls, but you can use Whatsapp for texting/calling using data. Most of the eSims are data only. Happy to share my referral code for $3 off if you are interested.
TIM in Italy has tourist sims that are a good deal and will get you texting/calling with a local number. Just depends on if that is convenient for you to pick up.

I’m currently in Europe and using an Airalo eSIM for the second summer. I’ve had no problems using it. Sometimes when moving from one country to the next it takes a few minutes to connect to the new cell towers, but the data speed is great.

So many good options to choose from. I recently came across www.roamobify.com and it worked excellent for me. Very fast and cheap and especially good if you're also travelling to other countries and don't want to buy another esim for that country
