Going to Sicily March 6. Would like to visit Erice from Trapani, but the cable car is closed until late March. We won’t have a car. Any suggestions on how to get there.?

There is a road up the hill, so a taxi would be able to take you there and back.

Be warned that it is much colder in Erice than in Trapani. We hit unseasonably cool weather in May but still did not count on how cold it would be in Erice.

A quick search showed a taxi ride would take about 12 minutes and cost between €19-€23. The road is fairly windy and steep.
