Has anyone recently been able to get into Doge’s Palace using their CDC card? When I go to buy tickets for our up coming trip the website has in large letters that you must have a Super Green Pass to get in.
Your CDC card serves as your Super Green Pass since there is no mechanism for USA citizens to get a Super Green Pass
Thank you but I was wondering if anyone has been able to do this recently as I have seen on this forum difficulties sometime convincing the people in charge to except the CDC card in various places in Italy.
I’ve seen very few mentions of issues using CDC card. Dozens of folks here have traveled to Italy and entered all sorts of venues using CDC card. The few I recall that were problematic were small town restaurants/ venues.
Every single museum and major venue says Super Green Pass required on their websites. By law they are supposed to accept CDC card.
It’s not something I’d worry too much about. And they may well discontinue that requirement before you travel.
Thanks for info. Just did not want to buy tickets which are expensive and be turned away at the door.
I understand
If they start turning away all US tourists that would be a problem!
So far on current trip, museums, restaurants, trains, ferry, etc., have all looked at CDC card for 3 dates to be there, as booster is required to make the US equivalent to Super Green Pass. No problem or hesitation. Doge’s Palace is next week 😀
