English speaking church. Also live music venues, in Rome

We are in Rome now, Trastevere district. Do you know of any English speaking churches (Protestant or Catholic) in Rome?

Also, for tonight, are there any live music venues or theaters in Rome? I’m sure there are but as I’m looking online I’m finding ones that are permanently closed. Ideas? We are willing to Uber away from our area.

Thank you!

I'm Church of England (Protestant) so I know of All Saints Church- https://www.allsaintsrome.org/

I've never been there, in fact I have only ever changed trains in Rome, it's just part of my routine travel planning to know of it.

By Protestant standards it is fairly 'High Church', so they celebrate Mass, not the Eucharist- which suits me personally just fine.

Sorry I don't know how close this is to your hotel- may be miles away.

As well as the above, the Ponte Sant' Angelo Methodist Church conducts its services in English. And it's close to Trastevere.

It’s not close to Trastevere, but Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church is English speaking. It’s close to the Borghese Museum.

San Paolo dentro le Mura (St. Paul’s Within the Walls) has a Sunday service at 10.30 a.m. in English. They even invite conversation afterwards!

From their website: St. Paul’s Within the Walls is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual Episcopal church in the heart of Rome. Built in 1873, it was the first non-Roman Catholic church within the city walls.

Although Sunday is here and gone, for the record, I'll second @History Traveler's recommendation of St. Paul's Within the Walls. I was an active congregant at the church during the two years when my family lived in Rome. Guests are always welcome and the fellowship time after the service is a great time to connect with people. Recently, they have begun organizing an opportunity to go to lunch at a nearby hotel after the fellowship time and anyone is welcome (pay for yourself). They usually make an announcement during the fellowship time asking who wants to go and someone calls the hotel to let them know. No planning ahead needed. It's a great way to meet people from Rome and across the world.
