English Guided Tours at the Accademia in Venice

Rick's guidebook and another guidebook say that English guided tours are available at 11:00 for an extra 5 Euros. I tried to find out more information on their website, but was unable to find any guided tours being offered in English. Contacted the Accademia via email and phone. The only guided tours available are private tours at 100 euros an hour. Does anyone have any information regarding English-speaking guided tours being offered.
Thanks

Douglas - Wrong museum. Accademia in Venice contains a wealth of Venitian art and is significantly larger than the Accademia in Florence. Dawn - Sometimes the guidebooks contain information that is dated / changed. Ask the museum about joining a group tour where it is provided in english as opposed to a private tour. Also let them know the approximate date since their offerings may be seasonal based upon demand. Otherwise, use RS guidebook and do a little research ahead of time. Also, you may want to check to see if RS has an audio download for this museum that you could listen to while visiting the museum. Edwin

Just a suggestion - rent the audio guide or use RS self guide. The Accademia is tiny and really only about the David and a couple other of his pieces. I wouldn't think it worth it to do a special guided tour.
