End of Oct beginning of Nov Florence, Naples which first?

Hello,
Weather-wise which should I do first? Planning to see Florence/Tuscany and Naples, solo female. Traveling end of Oct, returning first week in Nov. Or does it make any difference?

Thank you everyone for your help.

I don't know about weather-wise, but I'm thinking Florence/Tuscany would be a better start because it's more relaxing and easier for getting acclimated and past jet lag. How many days are you planning total, and are there particular parts of Tuscany, outside of Florence, that you have in mind?

The weather does not matter; It depends on where you fly into. I usually compare the airfare to fly into one city roundtrip versus another or open jaw (into one city and out another).

Naples tends to be warmer than Florence and Tuscany, so I would probably start in the North.

Hello everyone,
Thank you for your kind replies. I plan 14-16 days travel. So now, I think I'll land in Florence and return at Naples. I don't know what I will see in Tuscany, still doing some research. I think there are some fall festivals I would like to see, but will have to check on the dates. I might spend most of a week in Florence (I love Florence!) then work my way, by train or bus, making a couple of overnight stops, down to Naples. I'm not really interested in going back to Rome. I like textiles, history, geology, art and I would love suggestions. This is my first solo trip, abroad, and my 70th birthday present to myself. I was only going to spend 3 nights in Naples, but, I may extend that to 4. Again thank you very much for your wonderful feedback!

Since you're interested in textiles, I wanted to recommend a small museum in Siena, the one for the Onda Contrada (https://www.visittuscany.com/en/attractions/siena-the-museum-of-the-contrada-capitana-dellonda/). It displays prize banners, from many years past, awarded in Il Palio, and Medieval costumes worn by Contrada members during the event - the guide pointed out one that he had worn. I gather that the other Contradas also have museums, although I only found this one.
