I posted some time ago asking if May was a good month to travel to Italy. I received some wonderful responses. From the information, I think that early to middle May is good. However, I am now inquiring about late May early June. Is it getting very hot then, and are the crowds much larger then? Thanks much, Ruth

We've been twice at the end of May. One year it was cool and rainy, the next it was super hot. so it can definitely vary weather wise for sure. As far as the crowds go, they still werent that bad at the end of May.

May/June is generally a good time to go weather is always unpredictable, could get some rain it also depends where in Italy you plan to visit
crowds can pickup some around Memorial day but still not as crowded as mid June through summer

I'm going to be in Venice late May and want to take find a photography "day" workshop, any recommendations? Also looking for Hotel and restaurant recommendations. Thanks, VickMic
