Can anyone recommend somewhere comfortable to stay in Empoli? We were on the train from Florence to the CT today, and my husband had an emergency. we ended up at the hospital here, and once he's checked out, I think we'll just stay for the night to let him rest. BTW- the medical care has been fantastic. They kept reassuring us, "not like America, no charge. We check this. we run this test. We make sure..." I almost feel guilty, but they're so kind.

Cat, good to hear from you, and I'm glad your husband is getting good care. I don't know about hotels in Empoli but by now I'm sure you've found something.
