How successful are the electronic boarding passes at Milan Mxp? Is a paper boarding pass a better option?
Since u have doubts , stay with paper. Hopefully your hotel has a printer avail.
I've used electronic boarding passes domestically, but haven't tried them yet for flights in Europe. I may try them one of these times, but in the meantime I'll stick with a paper copy. As boarding passes can sometimes be printed up to a month prior to the flight, I just print them at home and pack them along.
Using Easyjet, I print a copy of the confirmation and bury it in my man bag, but I exclusively use the Easyjet app on my iPhone 4s for the various staff to scan. The app reminds me to check in a month out, prior to boarding, and when it detects that it is close to the airport it brings up the bar codes. I don't even have to open the app at the gate, it comes up on the Notification screen, and the person scans that. I also put a copy in Passbook just in case but haven't ever needed that.
They may be a slightly orange airline but my goodness can they write a good app.
