Where can I buy an electric fan near Montepulciano? We will be traveling by car from Rome so would could stop along the way.
There is no air conditioning at the villa where we are staying, need the fan for noise and the breeze. Just not sure what type of store would sell a portable electric fan.

In that situation, I'd just ask the people renting the Villa as they may have a Fan. I've found in the past with hotels that either don't have air conditioning or have it switched off, that there's usually a Fan available just by asking.

If you do need to buy one, you will want to go to a ferramenta which is a type of hardware/housewares store. Or if driving you see an Auchan, they are a big household goods retailer. There are none in Tuscany, but there are 4 in Roma. The one at Porta di Roma might not be too out of your way .

I have an O2 cool fan that I always bring with me when I travel to Europe in the summer. I have booked hotels with a/c where it didn't work well, or at all, and was very glad to have the fan with me. It fits in my carry on.
