What kind of plug/adaptor/convertor do we need for Italy?
Just look for one that says suitable for europe. If you aren't taking a hair dryer and curling iron or any major appliance you probably just need a plug adaptor most small electronics operate on low dc or ac voltage and the conversion happens internally or in the charger itself.
Thanks.
jean, as the previous reply mentioned, you may not need a Voltage Convertor, but rather just inexpensive Plug Adaptors. The style for Italy has two round pins or three in-line pins for the grounded style. Check * www.magellans.com/store/Adaptor_Plugs___Converters?Args= * (cut & paste the link inside the asterisks) for pictures of the different styles. ¶ However, it's EXTREMELY important to check EACH device that you'll be travelling with, to determine whether it's designed for "world operation". Look for the words "Input Voltage" on the Chargers or on the device itself. If these state "Input 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz", then you'll only need Plug Adaptors. ¶ I'd suggest taking at least two Plug Adapters, just in case one is "misplaced" or whatever. Happy travels!
