Elba?

Monique, I see from one of your other postings that you're leaving in 10 days. No offense, but isn't it a little late to still be coming up with your itinerary? Don't fall victim to the "While I'm over there I should try to see " syndrome. Just enjoy where you have already planned to go. Just a suggestion. Happy travels.

Hi Monique, It may seem strange that my answer is no I haven't been but I'm posting a reply. The reason is to share with you that I was going to visit Elba on my visit earlier this year but I decided not to because I found out that most rental car companies forbid you take the rental on a ferry! That meant I would have been paying for a rental that was just sitting plus pay to park it near the terminal and then pay for transportation on the island. For me that was a deal breaker.
