EES in Milan and Naples and Global Entry

I wnet through EES in Milan on June 23rd. It took maybe 5 minutes - it would have taken 4 but the instructions on the screen said to look at the screen. So I did. An error message came up and an agent came to show me there is another screen above. duh! In Naples, as I was leaving Italy 'kicking and screaming' on July 24th, the system was easier because I knew what screen to look at. No where near my goal of 4 minutes - could not have taken more than 90 seconds. Once you are on file, the system seems to drop any hastles. BTW, Naples airport is clean, loaded with services and very crowded. I read some ugly comments on FaceBook but found none of them to be true, in my experience.

In Philadelphia I used Global Entry. I renewed my subscription which had expired a few years ago. The instructions are clear: look at th camera (there must have been 5 or 6 of them) and keep moving. The agent was standing just past the last camera and said 'you're good to go.' Could this be any easier!?! Love it when technology works in our favor Still had to wait forever for my luggage, which was sent to a different carousel than the one posted - thanks to the agent who alerted us!

Thanks for the useful tips. Good to know it is much quicker once you are already registered, and I’ll remember to look at the upper screen in Milan!
