Hello There, I will be taking my parents from Edinburg to Italy. They would like to see Venice,Florence and Rome. What do you suggest? Fly, train? Where do we go first? Thanks,

Carolyn, For travel from Edinburgh to Italy, travel via budget airline would be the easiest and quickest option. I didn't check all the airlines, but one possibility would be EasyJet from Edinburgh to Milan. There may be other airlines that fly directly to Venice or Rome, but I didn't check. After arrival in Milan, take the train to Venice - Florence - Rome (travel via EuroStar Italia / Alta Velocita trains is very easy and the trips are short). Are your parents flying back to the U.S. from Rome? Cheers!
