My black Ecco Yucatan Sport Sandals are the most comfortable for walking and sightseeing. But wondering if they are yoo casual for eating out in the evenings. Has anyone worn them on a trip to Italy? Do Europeans wear sporty style sandals? I want to avoid packing another dressier pair of sandals.

Unless you are eating really high end I'd say they will be fine. And if they are your most comfortable shoes for walking then it doesn't matter what anyone else is wearing....says the person who wears her Altra athletic shoes everywhere, lol.
When are you traveling? I was there in Oct 2022 and it was pretty hot so sandals would be great for those that wear them.

I look at it this way- once I'm sitting at the table, no one is going to be trying to get a look at my feet. So unless it's a high end restaurant, you should be fine.
