Ecco sandals for women Comfy?

WOMEN- chime in here. I always travel in my Chaco sandals. This year I've decided to dress up a bit more, wearing a skirt and a travel dress instead of capri pants. I needed some footwear that was a bit more dressy. I found and bought these Ecco sandals at Nordstroms. My question is: Who has worn Ecco sandals, and what did you think of them? I don't need recommendations for other brands, this is specific to Ecco. Were they comfy for a full day of walking? Enough arch support and cushion under the foot? http://us.shop.ecco.com/ECCO-Odense-T-Strap/356473,default,pd.html?dwvar_356473_color=01001#prefn1=size&prefv1=40&prefn2=refinementColor&prefv2=BLACK&sz=26&cgid=women-sandals

Hi Ellen, Last summer I bought a pair of Ecco sandals and I love them. My husband and I spent a week in Montreal and a long weekend in Chicago and I wore the Ecco's the entire time. They definitely give enough cushion and arch support for a full day of walking. The pair I have is one of their more "fashionable" styles as opposed to the styles with two or three velcro straps. I plan to take this same pair of sandals to Italy for 2 weeks this June.

Hi Ellen. Sorry, I have never worn this particular style of Eccos, but for me these would not have enough cushioning under the ball of the foot. I don't think I would be able to do a full day of walking in these. Maybe they would be good for going out to dinner and then a little walking afterward, but would not work for me in the daytime. I need more cushioning, but then each of us is different. I have worn Eccos for years both at home and in Europe but chunkier ones. I loved them. PS: I love Naots ("Pamela" style.) That's what I wear now.

Everybody has different feet and likes different shoes and sandals. Personally, I'd find the sandals in your link look quite pretty but not supportive enough for lots of walking. I have the Ecco Yucatan and can certainly do a full day of walking in European cities or hiking in the Canadian Rockies in them. I got the bright red ones and they do look fine with casual skirts. http://us.shop.ecco.com/ECCO-Womens-Yucatan-Sandal/069563,default,pd.html?dwvar_069563_color=55287#start=24&sz=24&cgid=women-sandals

The Ecco Yucatan sandals are perfect for my feet-mine are black but red sounds interesting. The sole is similar to a running shoe and straps are velcro type. Yes, they are great for a full day of walking. Hate to admit this but I actually wore socks with them on a fall trip to Ireland-not with skirt! With jeans-I got them from Zappos-about $130 I think. I am on my third pair now.
