We had a wonderful time in Bolzano last year and are so excited that our RS Alpine tour will be staying in Castelrotto this year!
Do you have any recommendations for food, places to eat, groceries, etc. ?

We had a nice meal at Hotel Zum Turm, we didn't have a reservation, though might be a good idea. We had another good meal at Restaurant Saalstuben, reservation necessary. Great pizza at Ristorante Pizzeria Zur Alten Schmiede, it was quite busy, and there was a wait. Seemed like a lot of locals frequented it. We did go to a grocery store, I think it was the Coop as I look at a map.
It was a nice little village, worth walking around some. Church and cemetery were pretty with views from the cemetery.
It was a good hub with buses to get to multiple places.
