Get Your Guide is a consolidator. This tour through them is provided by Intrepid Urban Adventures. It’s at the bottom of your link.

I’ve taken six Eating Europe tours in four cities, but not Venice. They are very easy to work with especially if you have to change anything. You deal directly with Eating Europe.

As you read through posts, you will see that over and over people are warned to book direct, not through consolidators or third parties.

Get your Guide is a 3rd party reseller (you can see who actually offers the food tour when you go to the details.) Eating Europe is the tour company. We have used Eating Europe many, many times with great success and loved every single tour with them. We have also used Get Your Guide successfully but prefer going directly with the tour providers vs. resellers.

hey hey sarahclode
as others have mentioned "getyourguide" is a third party reseller. everyone has their own opinions, good & bad. we've used them 4 times in different european cities without any issues.
eating europe is a very popular tour on the forum. have used once without any problems, dealing with them personally.
just to juggle your brain, for others yo check unless you have your decision.

alessandro does a cichetti "bar tour" with drinks, "small bites" and history of venice. he is mentioned a lot in this forum. i like the idea of small tours (6 to 8 people). you can email him for more info and book it with him personally under contact ([email protected])

always look at dates and time, what is offered on tour and if you're satisfied. it's really a great experience to do a food/walking tour of the city you're in, some like the first days there, get more info from guide and then roam around. have a fabulous time

We've done two food tours in Venice: one with Alessandro, and the other with "Food Tours of Venice." Alessandro's tour was more fun - you stop at tiny off-the-beaten-path places that, even if you were to find them on your own, you wouldn't know what they were. The "Food Tours..." was more informative. Less alcohol, though. A lot less.

We took a Streaty Food Tour in Palermo last year. They also have tours in Napoli, Catania and Venezia! It was the highlight of our time in Palermo. Our guide was knowledgeable, informative, funny and knew all of the best places to visit. I would highly recommend them.
