EasyJet questions.

So, looking to book on easyjet for an upcoming vacation. What are the restrictions for carry on? Just one piece? so, if we have a carry on and a personal item, the personal item is a 2nd piece, and needs to be checked, or placed inside the carry on?

We are traveling with our tandem bike, so I'm looking at 2 bikes checked (even though it's only one bike, but in two cases)

Can anyone clarify the carry on issue, and is it worth it to pay for a seat assignment for a short flight? or not worry about sitting together.

Posting here, because we are flying Milan to Alghero...all within Italy.

Any other advise, please, respond before I book...and I hope to do that in the next day or so!

My experience was that it was one item (no personal item) but my last trip with them was 2 years ago. I put my purse in my carry-on.

I didn't bother with seat assignment because I can tolerate anything on a short flight.

If you think you might check, make sure to pay when you book.

It is one piece of carry-on, period. No small purse or bag or anything at all is allowed as a 2nd bag. We didn't bother with seat assignment because you check in one month before the flight and you see what seats you are assigned (and they kept our whole group of 6 together anyways).
