Hi, I just checked plane flights from Paris to Rome for 6/17, and just wondered if about $70 is a normal price. It's about 55 euro per person. Also, I put in "any Paris airport" since I'm not sure which one we are closest to and that was an option. Does this mean, as I suspect, that after purchasing the tickets, I can actually use them at any of the airports in Paris? Seems strange.
Nancy....when you move to the second page of the Easyjet website, look carefully at the Paris choices....they will specify CDG or Orly...or sometimes, both. It seems that, in your case for Paris-Rome, it specifies Paris-Orly to Rome-Ciampino. Personally, I prefer Orly if I'm already in Paris, because it's a little closer to the center of Paris, and whole lot less confusing and crowded than CDG.
EasyJet flies from Orly to Ciampino (CIA) (Rome) for 42 Euro.
Vueling flies from CDG to Fiumincino (FCO)(Rome) for 50 Euro.
I believe it is cheaper to travel from FCO airport in Rome to city center than from CIA airport to city center. You might want to see which flight, including travel to and from airports, is cheaper.
