Easy Jet vs Air France

We need to schedule flights in mid-October from Venice to Paris.

Air France wants $194 for two in to CDG. plus $10 to pick seat

Easy Jet has the following:

Your flight options
Standard Plus (Extra Legroom seat 1B, dedicated Bag Drop, Speedy Boarding) 32.99

Standard Plus (Extra Legroom seat 1C, dedicated Bag Drop, Speedy Boarding) 43.99 extra for small cabin bag and large cabin bag which is a backpack and a 22x10x10 carry on
TOTAL 154. But its ORLY.
You have the option to purchase a hold bag for an extra 28.49. We always do carry on and am wondering if we are going to get bit in the end. We were not planning on purchasing hold bag. We would rather fly in to Orly, but for the fare difference is it really worth it? Easy jet seems to have so many stipulations

I like Easyjet. I’ve flown them many times over the years. As long as you know and understand all their rules and fees you’re fine. Looks like you will get speedy boarding. That gets you into the first boarding group . So it should be easy to find space for your carry on(s). The early boarding is important to me as I have no status on any airlines and I’m always concerned about finding a place for my bag.

If you purchase all the extras you need and still come out cheaper, then definitely easyJet. Orly is so much better than CDG to get to the city.
