Hi! Would you suggest that we take Easy Jet Airline from Paris to Venice? Or should we take a train? If so, what train? Looks like Easy Jet is cheaper....
Janederm, On that particular route, EasyJet would be my first choice. Unlike some of the other budget airlines, they typically use main airports, rather than airports far removed from the cities. EasyJet will likely be cheaper, but that will depend on when you book. Budget airlines typically use a "sliding scale", with prices increasing as the flight fills. Those who book early get the best prices. BE SURE to read their "Terms & Conditions" carefully, especially related to luggage rules. If you think your checked luggage will be over their allowable limit, it's better to pay for the extra weight at the time of booking rather than at the gate as it's cheaper. Also note that they have a strict limit of ONE carry-on item only, of the approved size (and they WILL check). Happy travels!
And when they say one 21" carry on suitcase, they mean it. No extra laptop cases, no purses. I'd take EasyJet any day over the train.
I would happily take Easyjet OR Vueling, ( Vueling allows one carry on and a purse) , I have used both airlines and they are fine( I used Vueling for Paris- Rome some years ago, but have used both airlines this past summer ) , I would just pick whichever was cheapest and had departures on the days I wanted. I like train travel but find 5-6 hours are my limit on a train.
