Query if any shopping is possible over Easter weekend, or does everyone close their shop?
We will be in Florence March 25 - 27, 2016 (my wife's Spring break, she's a teacher).
Will we miss out on things being open? Restaurants, etc.

On Easter Sunday many shops will be closed, but not on Saturday. Easter Monday (Angel's Monday) is also a holiday, therefore many things will be closed.
Restaurants and bars are largely open both days.
