Easter Service in Manrola / Cinque Terre

We will be honeymooning in Manrola over Easter and would like to attend an Easter service (April 1). Although we are Protestant, we would like to attend church on Sunday (realizing it will be Catholic). Can anyone recommend a church in Manrola or other Cinque Terre town that might be easy to attend? Must one be Catholic in order to take part in Communion?

Manarola has a very old, 14th-century church (San Lorenzo) you could attend. The service will be in Italian, and I'm not sure what time Easter mass will be although it will be easy enough to find out when you get there. There is no problem with a Protestant attending services in any of the CT churches.

That said, it's been my understanding that one is technically required to be Catholic to receive communion in the Catholic church - not that it's possible to check everyone - but I'll leave that question for members of the religion.

Editing to add, you might send your church-service questions (e.g. mass times) to this CT local? She seems to respond to inquiries about the area reasonably promptly:

Everybody can attend a Catholic service. As Catholics believe in the actual presence of Christ in the Communion, taking it is reserved to those who share the faith - i.e. Catholics, and only those not living under a sin. As Orthodox Christians share 98% of Catholics beliefs and all the essential ones, they can admitted to Communion also.
