and you could then hop on a train in Salerno.

Bus service was suspended in Campania last Easter 2021.

Trains always run. You just have to find a way to get to Salerno train station. Maybe a taxi or private car service.

Thank-you that's good to know. Maybe be able to pre book a taxi either to Serlano or straight to Naples airport.

Stephen, if you MUST make that flight, you might consider staying in Naples the night before? Seems I've read that Easter is a very popular time on the coast, and the traffic can be fierce. While I also won't say that you absolutely won't find a driver, it is a holiday weekend so pickins' just might be slimmer than not. The Monday immediately following Easter Sunday is also a national public holiday.

Going to Naples is different from going to the airport--I missed that. I would verify the bus service first, as there are direct airport buses from Salerno IF they run on holidays.

Being on the Amalfi Coast on the Easter Monday is quite close to a nightmare imho, but they are going to travel to Naples Airport on Easter Sunday.

Right, I realize that they're leaving Sunday but the weekend is sort of a holiday too and so could be very busy. A certain amount of drivers could be taking some of weekend off to be with family? Maybe the SITA buses will still be running, and maybe ferry service will have started as well.

I meant that on Sunday it will be crowded but manageable as long as they have a plan B, on Easter Monday the all coast is excruciating and staying far from the Airport would be a risk.
