My family will be in Italy this upcoming April 2020 over spring break. We'll be in Positano on Easter Monday and would like to do the Amalfi Coast drive via the SITA bus all the way to Salerno where we'll pick up the train to Rome. It looks like on national holidays though, from the current bus schedule (April is not available yet) you can't ride from Amalfi to Salerno. Does that sound right and what about alternatives? Is the Ferry limited too?

I don't know about Easter Sunday ferry schedule but we took the ferry from Amalfi to Salerno- it is a lovely ride- you get the best views of the coast that way.
I'd take the ferry over the bus in a heartbeat- every time we rode the SITA bus it was hot, crowded, people getting sick, people standing in aisles blocking our view, very very unpleasant yuck!
