I am going to be in Rome over Easter and am considering attending Easter Mass at the Pantheon. I emailed the Pantheon and they told me no tickets are required, so that’s easy. Has anyone attended Easter Mass there and if so can you tell me (1) how crowded it was/how early you have to get there to get a seat, and (2) how long Mass lasted? I’m Catholic and in my experience Easter Mass is a little longer than a standard Mass, usually about 1 hr 15 min, maaaaybe 90 min if very crowded and lots of pomp and circumstance. Is that similar to what I should expect in this case?
