Easter in Venice

We are taking our kids (14 & 15) to Rome/Florence/Venice next Spring Break. We will arrive in Venice over Easter weekend for three nights. We know some things will be closed due to the holiday.. but hopefully not too much.

Any recommendations? We are not religious so I don't think a Mass would be in the cards. Maybe a great restaurant for a special brunch/dinner?

Thank you!

Just be prepared that Venice will be extremely crowded. We were there the days before Easter a few years ago, and even riding the vaporetto, at night, was a jam- packed experience.
Perhaps stay away from the center of the action, maybe stay in Cannaregio, where the crowds don't go, and you can take sunset pix without people in your shots.
Row Venice is a 90 minute rowing lesson on the back cancels for 4-5 folks for about 100 euros total. Lots of fun, and harder than it looks.
Go out to Murano and Burano.
Get free (advance) tickets for the rooftop of the shopping center building by the Rialto Bridge.
Bring rainwear, Easter is late March, so the weather could be very variable.
Have a great trip !

Brunch is an American thing, so it would be difficult to find.
