Easiest way to get to Santa Sabina in Rome

We would love to visit Santa Sabina. We will be traveling by public transportation from the Testaccio neighborhood. Does anyone know the easiest way to get there, hopefully without too much elevation gain? I’ll be traveling by wheelchair and my dear husband will be pushing. Thank you.

How did you find the one church in Italy that Mom and I did not visit last year? Gosh, we were right on the street below it!

Maybe you already saw that Piazza Pietro D'illiria is a parking lot with what looks like a level entry and off a level street. From the Marmorata/Galvani bus and tram stops Google Maps indicates a "fairly level" walking route and at least the photo of that intersection makes the hills look quite gentle. I'd explore from there with the Google street view.

Thank you, Laura. I forgot about looking at the streets with Google. I’m also looking at getting off at the Circo Massimo metro/tram stop and then walking up to the Botanical Gardens. Looks like Santa Sabina isn’t too far of a walk from there
