Easiest way to get from Cinque Terra to the Terontola-Cortona?

We are staying 3 nights in Montrossa starting May 3rd. On Friday the 6th we need to get to this station where our rental car can be picked up. It appears that a 4.5 hour train ride with 3 connections is our best option. Should we consider a private car with driver?

That’s at least a 3 hour drive, private driver is going to be quite expensive. I’d guess 400 euros or more.
Can’t you pick up car somewhere closer, like Pisa or La Spezia? Or even Florence.

I believe May 6 is also a strike day, you might have train issues

Thank you so much for the information. Our rental car was arranged through our Reservation contact at our next stay, Creatola.

I will have to research this some more and look at the potential strike and our options.
