Hi all- sorry if this is a repeat but I've searched and can't find the answer. Rather than a hotel we are staying in an apartment in Rome. We will have to leave to the airport at 5:00 am. The suggested call-ahead taxi services that I contacted ONLY pick up at hotels. One organization offered to take us at 60 euros per person, plus 30% for pre-7 a.m. departure. Will there be taxis at the Argentina taxi stand at 5:00 am? Is it possible to arrange a regular taxi the night before? Thanks in advance.

The day before we left Rome, we were in a taxi on our way back to our apartment and were talking about getting to the airport the next day. The driver heard us and said that he would be there to pick us up at 6:00am the next morning. To our surprise, he was there!!!!

our hotel set up our cab the night before. we left our hotel at 7 am and it was a set rate of 45 euros for 2 people. hope this helps. :):)

I bet there would be a taxi at Largo Argentina at 5 am. It's a taxi station, so I bet a lot of taxies would be hanging out there waiting for a call.
