Look on their websites. Most museums and venues require timed entry, at least in London, Paris and Venice. I will assume Rome is the same.

Nero's underground Domus Aurea works like the Borghese Gallery, in case you are interested in ongoing excavations.
Must sees are subjective, to me you are missing the 4 sites of the National Museum, especially Palazzo Massimo
