Early November Almafi coast ?

We're winding up a 5 week Italian visit in Venice during the first week of November.
We have 4 days before departing from Rome to US.
We thought of spending these last days at the Almafi coast - especially in Positano - but the
RS guidebook indicates that the hotels in the region close up come Nov 1.

Is this accurate? And true of Sorrento as well?

Other suggestions where to spend those final days?

We thought of Lake Como but region may be chilly / rainy come November.

We were in Sorrento the first week of November last year. The only place I noticed that looked mainly closed was the "Rodeo Drive" part of Capri. Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ravello were all definitely open...just blessedly uncrowded. I expected the ferries to stop at the end of October, from what schedules I could find online and from advice I got on these boards, but they were definitely running to Capri and back to Naples. I thought it a great time to visit! In hindsight, I just wish we had planned more days in Naples. It's a gritty but fascinating city.
