We are looking at the Hotel Tiber for a 1 night stay before our flight out of FCO, scheduled for a 9:45 am departure on Sunday, April 30. Assuming the flight isn't changed--or cancelled--we'll need a taxi from the hotel around 6:30 am. Are taxis readily available in Fiumicino at this time of the morning?
I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t be
Have your hotel call for the taxi
In October 2021, we rented an apartment in Rome for a week, and a couple days before we checked out, our “landlady” called to have a driver pick us up very early. I frankly don’t know what number she called, but the driver was there actually a couple minutes early - something like 6:00am (don’t recall the exact time, either). It was a private van, not a white taxi, and fare was something in the neighborhood of €50-€60, including early morning timeframe and luggage.
Your hotel should be able to make the arrangements.
Cyn, I believe their Hotel Tiber is in the town of Fiumicino, very close to the airport, not in Rome. So the taxi fare will be much less.
Hotel has a shuttle, extra cost, that runs every half hour. Not sure of hours it runs, but they will arrange a taxi if necessary.
Transportation--- Airport drop-off Additional charge

I’d interpreted this as asking whether taxis were going to be serving the airport that early, but I appreciate the clarification by Lola. At any rate, rides in the early morning are part of the system that exists to accommodate people needing to catch so many early flights.
Thanks to all who responded. I had emailed the hotel about this but hadn’t received a response in 3 days so I posted on this Forum. Thanks again.
