Our family of three will be flying into Venice on March 9 and out of Milan on March 15. In addition to visiting Venice and Milan, we're considering spending 1-2 nights in either Lake Como or Cinque Terre. We’re having a hard time deciding between the two. Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated!

At that time of year, I think you will have the same issue with both places: rain and windy weather, and many places not yet being open. Perhaps look on booking,com to research what's open, and look for any reviews folks left during March. However, you only have six nights on the ground, and one of those is your arrival, jet lagged day. You really don't have the time , I'd suggest keeping your trip to Venice and Milan. You could day trip from Venice, perhaps to Padua. Have a great trip, safe travels!

Thanks, Pat. That’s a great idea to look for reviews from previous years in March. I’ll do that and also check out Padua and Verona for a day trip.
