Early Arrival/Day Tour of Milan

We arrive at 8:40 am in Milan in the month of October. The plan was to take a car to Bellagio right away but we cannot check into our room there until 3:00 pm. We have since decided that we should see Milan, the very least the Duomo, the Last Supper and few other points of interest. I have found several half day tours that look interesting. We could then leave for Bellagio around 3:00 or 4:00 pm via a private driver. Does anyone have ideas on where we could store our luggage for the tour hours or suggestions for this kind of scenario? Would be nice if there was an early check in hotel for just a couple of hours to store luggage and freshen up.

Thanks
Shari

You can take the Malpensa Express to Milano Centrale train station and leave bags at their storage office on the ground floor, near the exit to Piazza Luigi di Savoia. (I don't imagine you'll want to go back to an airport to retrieve your bags.)

Since you’ll be going to Milano Centrale (Milan’s Central Station), from the airport, you may leave your bags at left luggage there. Look for signs, “Deposito Bagagli”, it’s located on the ground floor.

Enjoy your trip!

Try contacting UNA Maison Milano. It is a wonderful hotel that is on the corner near the Duomo. If Kenneth is still there, explain your predicament to him and he'll be able to help you. You really don't need a tour for the Duomo (be sure to walk the roof - the stairs are easy, don't bother with the elevator.). The Last supper requires a ticket way in advance (if you don;t want an expensive superfluous tour). It is walking distance from the Duomo. Milan is a beautiful city. There is a Frog Tour there that is free. Don't forget the Sforza Castle.

Touring Milan as you contemplate after what is presumably an overnight flight is quite ambitious.

Are you not able to leave your luggage at your hotel ( or whatever) before check in and spend a more relaxed afternoon wandering Bellagio. Schedule Milan for a separate day?
