My wife and I will be in Tuscany mid-Sept. We're planning either 4 nights in Florence and 1 night in Siena vs 3 nights Florence, 2 nights Siena. The difference maker is a e-bike day-trip tour of Tuscany. If we do the day-trip out of Florence, then one night in Siena, or vice versa. The e-bike tour out of Siena would get us into the countryside much more quickly than out of Florence, no? We'd prefer not spending too much of our countryside tour biking through the greater Florence metro area. We could do a half-day bike tour of Florence on a different day. Anyone have any thoughts?

I did a Tuscany bike tour from florence and although we met in Florence city center, they then shuttled us to our actual starting point where we picked up our bikes outside of the city center.
Also did a city center tour on a different trip.

Crystal B, or others who have taken a shuttle from Florence to e bike in Tuscany for a wine tour. do you have the name(s) of companies who offer this? It can be self guided or guided.
