Duomo Museum in Florence?

Hello,
I recently made I reservation that I thought was the Duomo Museum. I don't think it is actually the Duomo Museum Iw as thinking of. I reserved a booking for the Museo dell’Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore. Is that the same as the Duomo Museum? Please let me know. Thanks.

That's the official name for the Duomo museum. You're good. The ticket includes the Duomo, the cathedral and the baptistry and bell tower too. You need a reservation for the dome climb though.

Yes, that's the Duomo Museum. Santa Maria del Fiore is the actual name of the duomo in Florence, and the word opera in the museum title refers to its works of art and not to musical opera.

You have the right one. The Duomo's formal name is Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore: Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flower.

The €15.00 tickets sold on the official website (which is what I'm guessing you purchased?) include entry to all parts of the complex:

• Museo dell’Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore (the museum)
• Giotto's Bell Tower
• Brunelleschi's Dome
• Crypt
• Baptistry

The Cathedral itself is free.

Note: reservations for the dome are mandatory, and suggested for the museum and Bell Tower. You can make those here with the UPC number on your ticket:
