I'm looking at the BRUNELLESCHI PASS (which is a 3 day pass) for Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence. When booking tickets online, I need to allocate a time for the Dome climb (which I want to do on day 2) but when buying the pass you need to select the date and time of the Dome climb, therefore making that 'day 1' of your pass.
Am I incorrect??

No, you are correct...for the Brunelleschi Pass and the Giotto Pass, the timed entry of the climb is always on Day 1. You can, however, visit the other sites before your timed entry if it's the same day (especially if you've scheduled your entry later in the day). The 3 day pass is something of a misnomer, therefore. We bought the Giotto Pass last October. We did the tower climb, visited the Duomo and Santa Reparata and then took a well-deserved pastry and cappuccino break before visiting the Duomo Museum and Baptistery.
