If I purchase the 4e ticket online for the Duomo (only wish to see the dome...not climb the stairs, etc.), does that allow me to skip the lines but that means I need to enter at a predetermined (pre-selected) time?
llmoyer123, I'm unaware of any €4 entry ticket for the duomo: the cathedral is free. Could you provide the source for this information? Could be I'm missing something but I don't recall seeing anything like this.
You are 100% correct. I had my wires crossed and it is the Galleria dell'Accademia that I meant to ask about.
My apologies!
No problem....except that there's no €4 adult entry ticket to the Accademia either. :O)
So try again? What is it about a ticket for the Accademia you wish to know? We'll get you all squared away!
I’m embarrassed to admit that at this point I haven’t a clue what I was asking!
I think I was on a site that told me that the cathedral only (Duomo) was free but that reserved times (at 4e) would allow direct entry @ a designated time. Since I can’t for the life of me find that site, I’m guessing I’m wrong...and that, in fact, there’s no 4e fast-access option (or you guys would know about it!).
My apologies for this convoluted posting!
No worries. It's easy to get confused but you'll find help here.
Just keep posting as your questions come up!
Thanks for that kind response!
